Prerequisites for Jazz Camp
- Instrumentalists who attend this year's Jazz Camp must be able
to play, at least, the following 5 scales well without music: C, F,Bb, G, and D.
- Vocalists must be able to match pitch and have several tunes
from the jazz standards repertiore prepared (with the
accompanying lead sheet) when camp begins.
- Drummers will be placed in a Jazz Camp section appropriate to their ability. Additionally, click here for some great information for drummers.
- Bassists will be placed in a Jazz Camp section appropriate to their ability.

- All Attendees should:
- Devote time to listen to music. It is important to familiarize yourself with the jazz tradition if you are not already.
