 5 MILE HOUSE JAZZ TUESDAYS
Both the Sierra 3 (Bill Douglass, bass; Nora Nausbaum, flute/alto flute; John Girton, guitar) and Troubadour Trouble (Steve Holland, guitar and vocals; Bill Douglass, bass; Gary Upton, sax and/or Kit Bailey, drums will be featured in alternating performances. See the SJS Home page for schedules. Tuesday, December 1 you can hear Al Bent, trombone; Bill Douglass, bass; Tim Metz, drums. Time: Tuesday Jazz 6:30-9:30 pm Also, the weekend after Thanksgiving, Nov. 28 --Stephanie Bruce - Jazz Camp Faculty member -will be offering jazz vocals along with Bill Douglass on bass and John Girton, guitar Directions: 5 Mile House
Limited VIP Seating - $45 includes: Reserved seats, VIP lounge and 1 free drink ticket. "Mose Allison is a unique figure in jazz; always on the very edge of wide public acceptance, playing and developing the almost forgotten art of song and lyric." Past shows have sold out in advance.

JAZZ CAMP 2010
Join the fun! Whatever age or instrument you play, or voice –take an adventure this summer in music. Our faculties, under the leadership of Bill Douglass, all are patient, kind and great musicians. You don’t have to know how to improvise, just know your instrument well enough.
Vocalists please sign up early as this sectional can get filled quickly.
The public performance on the last day of camp is not mandatory but it is fun for our community to hear both the students and the faculty play.
